Prayer Requests

What follows are the specific requests made by members of the Dalton Gardens church family by cards, phone and email and other requests from around the world by email. Thank you for the privilege of praying for one another. Please pray for these requests and give God the glory.

Below you will find the latest prayer requests from our congregation. Church prayer requests will date back for two weeks and will be updated every Monday with new prayer requests, from the previous weeks submission.

Glenn & Judie Sanborn: Prayers for peace and comfort for Loretta Lee’s family in her passing. Prayers for Mark Milburn, peace and healing, also for Janet. Also for Glenn and I, we are taking an unexpected trip to Klamath Falls on Monday to see Glenn’s sister who is moving.
Marci Nelson: I am thankful for our church family. Please pray for my family to seek God’s will in our lives. Pray for us to find a solution to getting closer to my parents so we can be available to care for them.
David & Linda Bruner: Pray for Loretta Lee’s family, Charlie Lee, Kara Shelton’s father. He has had two brain surgeries this past week.
Mark & Kim Borsheim: Thankful that hurricane Ian did not hit Adam’s area in Florida, but please keep the hurricane victims and families in your prayers. Thank you.
Suzy Allen: Praise God, the great physician has been healing me. All praise and glory are His! Thank you for your prayers.
Betty Rude: Prayers for my family and church family. Thank you for your prayers.
Jim & Janelle Burton: Please pray for our friend who has been told she has a large mass in her breast.
Jo Allen: Please pray for Glenda, my sister. As you know she had throat cancer and it has turned out to affect other parts, she is very discouraged.
David & Angela Gutierrez: Please pray for David’s health. Pray for my co-worker’s mom who has stage 4 cancer.
Arrty & Jen Rude: Please pray for those affected by hurricane Ian and all those helping with the recovery effort.
Michael & Carmen Lewis: Prayers for continued healing for Sheba. Her speech, neck strength, and left leg movement have improved some.
Les Biby: prayer for Nancy as she will follow-up with a cardiologist next week.
Claudia Moberg: Please pray for Cynthia’s health, no more COVID.
Wanda Wilson: Please continue to pray for Nancy Biby for a speedy recovery.
AJ Stemmene: Prayers for the Deacons and their families. God bless their service. Delvona for a speedy recovery, Diane Herbolt for relief of her foot pain, Kellie’s cancer and all cancer patients, as it is cancer awareness month. Kara’s Dad with his brain bleeding. Scott & Carmen Rouse: Prayers for Nancy Biby and the doctors treating her. Continued prayers for Loretta Lee’s family. Thank you Lord for hearing our prayers and all those who need your strength.

Howard & Delvona Rude: Delvona had surgery this past week on her knee. We are so thankful for the success. Pray for a fast recovery.
Freda Campbell: Pray for safe travels for the next couple of weeks.
Terry & Cindy Skinner: Please pray for Lorraine Sanchez, a good friend of Cindy’s from Portland. Her husband, Gil, suddenly passed away last week. Please keep Lorraine and their family in your prayers.
Betty Williams has left assisted living in Post Falls and is back in her apartment at her son’s. She would love visitors.

Prayer Requests from September 25, 2022

Jim & Alyson: Prayers for the Shelton family and Kara’s dad.
Carolyn: Please pray for my friend, Leslie. She has a bacterial infection in her shoulder.
Shelia: I have a court date, October 18, to settle on my mom’s estate in Anniston, Alabama. God willing, I can afford to go. Please pray God provides the funds for me to make this court appearance.
Marty & Betty Jo: Please pray for my niece, Kellie. Her cancer has returned, and she is going through treatments again.
Misty: Ryan’s surgery went well. He will go back for a checkup on Oct 28. Pray for his healing. Please continue to keep Cody in your prayers, his doctors appt. was cancelled until Oct 3.
Jim & Janelle: Pray for guidance and God directed opportunities for our younger adults.
Dan & Teri: Pray for the unity of our nation. Pray for Mark & Janet with their cancer situation! Also, for Loretta, Sandy, Sheba, Delvona with knee surgery, Margie with her carpal tunnel surgery coming up. Prayers for Kara and her family.
Sandra: Keep praying for our elected officials to make right and good choices for our citizens and our country. And pray for all our travelers. And pray for those who are lonely or ill. Pray that you step outside your usual circle of friends and make new friends to add to your life. Be open to those who are different than you.
Marie: Thank you to all the ladies that helped with the ladies’ retreat. It was a great Saturday. Please continue prayers for Brad’s job search. He has a few opportunities available and two applications in. Thank you for the prayers for me. The medication has made a difference, I have a diagnosis. Prayers for safe travel Sept 29 –Oct. 4

Dale: Diane had foot surgery and has been having struggles with pain management. Pray for this to pass and that she heals quickly. Thanks.

AJ: Please pray for the Hedge family at the loss of their mother and my close friend. Pray for Mark, Skinner family, Jolee, Mike, (new shop), the Frisbie’s nephew, Margie, Carmen’s sister, Sheba, Kelsey’s dad, and Robin’s trip to reconnect with family. God bless all!
David & Angela: Please pray for David’s health and to be able to schedule knee replacement surgery.
Wanda: Please pray for Nancy. She is home sick.
Terry & Cindy: Please pray for healing for Vinita. She had cataract surgery Monday.

Bob & Irene: My brother-in-law (Kara’s dad) has bleeding on his brain. Please pray for this bad situation.
Michael: Let’s continue to keep Loretta in our prayers. Her family moved her from Kootenai Hospital to the Advanced Care Hospital in Post Falls, until a bed opens at Ivy Court. She may have visitors, but she is becoming less conversate and aware of her surroundings. Let’s continue to give thanks for this sweet woman. Pray for Ray’s continued recovery. He fell and broke a bone in his upper thigh. He had surgery where doctors put a plate over several bones. Ray is in good spirits and will soon turn 99 years old. God bless him and Sylvia. Pray for his pain management.

Prayer Requests from September 18, 2022

“But because of his great love for us, God, who is rich in mercy, made us alive with Christ even when we were dead in transgressions—it is by grace you have been saved.” (Ephesians 2:4-5)

There are a number of our brothers and sisters with very serious prayer requests this week. Please take just a moment as soon as you read this to pray for these special needs. M.

Janet: Mark is undergoing treatment again and is in a lot of pain. He has a fracture of the lower spine. Please pray they are able to treat his back so that he can get out of this pain. Also, I would like prayers for myself. I have been diagnosed with cancer. It has been detected early so they feel it is treatable. It’s a lot right now but we know that the Lord won’t give us more than we can handle.
Tim & Angie: Please pray for Krystal and her kids. She is a longtime friend of ours whose husband just passed away.
Suzy: Pray for hurting people, that their hearts will heal through God’s strength and others help.
Glenn & Judie: Praying for Mark & Janet and for Jolee as she has surgery for colon cancer.
AJ:  Pray for JoleeCarole’s back, Betty W., John & MarciJim & Diane’s move, Ronda’s sister Lisa, and Shelia. Praise God for families that care for loved ones at home.
Misty: Cody will see a doctor this week for a health issue. Pray the doctor will find out what is wrong. Also, an update on Ryan’s health. He saw the blood doctor and things are starting to look up and going in the right direction. We could use prayers for this Thursday, Ryan will be having surgery. Thank you to everyone and God bless.
Marci: My dad is struggling with a bout of diverticulitis. He has been in the hospital since Thursday night on IV antibiotics and IV for hydration. Please keep him and my mom in your prayers.
Church office: Please pray for strength and patience for Robin as she heads to California to see her brother. He is very ill. He has had two strokes, is blind, and has out of control diabetes (amputations are being considered). And in addition, her father who also lives in Southern California is also in very poor health and going through many difficulties. Please pray for Robin’s strength to provide encouragement and God’s blessings for her family.
Dale: Loretta will be at Kootenai hospital for a few days. (Room #3112) She is battling severe stomach cancer but is upbeat and can receive visitors. She will be going into a care facility after her release from the hospital. Please pray for Loretta.
Betty: Prayers for my family and that we will follow God. Prayers for Mary as she is preparing for knee surgery.
Terry & Cindy: Prayers for courage to face challenges for our family (kids & grandkids).
Paul & Katrina: We’re excited to have Katrina’s parents here visiting for a few weeks! Please pray for their continued safety on their full-time travels around the country. Thank you!
Michael & Carmen: Prayers for Sheba’s full recovery from a stroke. She has some movement in her left leg.
Mike: Prayers are needed to find guidance to a new shop for my business and guidance in the new situation.
Wayne & Debbie: Please pray for our nephew and his family as he has had an accident and is dealing with the results.
Kelsey: Please pray for my dad as he is scheduled for surgery this Thursday to have a sizable brain tumor (about the size of a lime) removed. Pray for my mom during this time as well.
Kevin & Kelsey: Please pray for the safe birth of baby Jacob at the end of October.

Prayer Requests from September 11, 2022

“I will sing to the Lord all my life; I will sing praise to my God as long as I live. May my meditation be pleasing to Him, as I rejoice in the Lord.” (Psalm 104:33-34)

Glenn & Judie: Please pray for Jolee. She will be going in for surgery Sept. 20 for colon cancer. Prayers for a good outcome.
Sandra: Thank you for your prayers for my safe travels and continue to pray for others still traveling, the sick, and the homebound.
Larry & Sylvia: Prayers for Marie as she is dealing with new health issues. Betty has moved to the Lodge in Post Falls. She loves phone calls and visits. Pray for her as she is still recovering.
David & Linda: Glad to see everyone! Please pray for safe travels this next week. Pray for our moms: Alberta and Cloise.
Craig & Debbie: Thankful for the safe travels and amazing time in Alaska. Please pray for safe travels back east. We are leaving Sept. 13 and will return Nov. 12. Thankful for our church family.
AJ: Pray for Cody and his health issues. Pray for Kathy’s mom, Carmen’s sister, Mark & Janet as well as all who are sick and hurten.
Kurtis: Please pray that I would produce the fruit of the Spirit. Also, that I would abide in Christ as he does in me.
David: Pray for David with his upcoming blood tests on his chronic anemia and malabsorption problem associated with his gastric bypass surgery. He’s been having a lot of headaches and fatigue.
Elaine: Pray 9/11 never happens again.
Kathy: Please pray for my mom. Please pray for my daughters.
Shelia & Rick: Please pray for me. I need wisdom and strength from God to make good decisions for my kids. Parenting isn’t easy.
Larry & Jean: Prayers for our family. Especially those traveling this weekend and Brendon while he is bow hunting this week. Thank you.
Scott: Let’s pray for our young people to stand strong for Christ as they are now back in school.
Misty: Cody could use prayers he is having some health issues. Ryan is seeing the blood doctor this week. Pray for good news.

Prayer Requests from September 4, 2022

Tim: Thank you again to everyone for praying for our housing situation. All our prayers were answered, and we are settling into our new place, Praise God! Please continue to pray for our friend, Royce. He is responding to chemo and has a tough road ahead.
AJ: Pray for all in the new school year – cars slow down! Pray for Kent, Bill, all the sick, and all who need spiritual guidance. Please pray for Carmen and her family at the loss of her sister.
Glenn & Judie: Pray for Betty, she is in assisted living. Prayers for Carmen’s sister for healing. May we all be together in love for God and each other. Prayers for Jolee who has colon cancer.
Dan & Teri: Please pray for our niece’s mother-in-law. She has stage 4 cancer. Tanya’s grandmother passed away last week. Please pray for the family. Pray for the unity of our country and that we focus on putting God first in all things. Pray for all our young people starting school. It is good to have Michael & Carmen back.

Janet: Please pray for Mark. We had to take him to the ER because of back pain. The doctor did a CT scan and said that he has a herniated disc, and they suspect this is due to the spread of his cancer. He is home on pain medication, and we will see his oncologist as soon as possible. Please pray that he can be healed once again from this latest cancer.
